My husband and I are happy new Savannahians and love this wonderful city. We relocated from San Diego and was quite a welcome culture change…slow and laid back, rich in history and architecture, beautiful, and no traffic! Lots of fun and adventures as we trucked our furniture and cat across seven states, and moved into a 1916 house of old world charm, complete with peeling paint and leaky windows. We stayed busy beautifying and renovating the Grand Olde Lady and acquired fab finds from auctions and travels to furnish and dress her. As a result we became pretty good at restoration and learned a great deal about all the vintage and antique pieces that we collected. Our second career opened up and as a designer and avid shopper, of course I bought too much…. which resulted in a little more than we needed. The rest, as they say, is history.
